How to play Minecraft the aesthetic way.

Minecraft is a game with endless possibilities. While there is no right or wrong play style, we like to play Minecraft "aesthetically".

We want to ensure that the world we play in is and stays aesthetically pleasing. This means preserving the natural beauty of the landscape, treating animals and villagers with care and ensuring that everything we build blends seamlessly into the world and adds value to it.

By playing Minecraft aesthetically, you are crafting a story. We want to keep the adventurous aspect of Minecraft intact as we develop and shape our world. This also includes preserving the value of certain items. The exploitation of villagers or bugs doesn't qualify as "aesthetic" for us. The same applies to fully automated farms that abuse the game's mechanics for spawning entities.

A big part of the aesthetic style of play is exploring the landscape. Minecraft is not made to be enjoyed from a single point on the map, and the lack of exploration is often why SMPs become uninteresting over time. Be flexible, find new places you like and build more than just one or two homes. This way, you will not only improve at building in various biomes, but also contribute towards a denser and more interesting world.

Work together. Building, exploring and going on adventures with friends is what a Minecraft server is all about. Sure, it can be great to tackle a project on your own every once in a while, but most of the time, the best moments are made together with other people.
